MegaPhone

This is MegaPhone and its pretty cool. Its an interactive billboard where people are invited to phone the board, after which they see themselves as an avatar on the billboard, where they can play games such as Space Invaders against others by controlling their avatar using their phone's keypad. Essentially it turns passive people into playing participants.

The BBC could find a use for MegaPhone at football matches, with opposing fans have a virtual kickabout at half-time to promote Match of the Day. Or it could be used at gigs such as the Electric Proms where crowds use their phones to vote for which song they want an artist to play next. Just a thought...
